Welcome to the Tickled Pink Stamps Birthday Blog Hop!

What a month of previews, releases and giveaways Tickled Pink Stamps has had and now to top it all off we're having a blog hop to go out with a BANG. To join the Pink Party of the Year you can start HERE at Boss Lady Kellie's blog. And WHY is this hop not to be missed? There is a major prize at the wind down of the party, by hopping along you have a chance to win EVERY stamp released during the month of October, that's over 15 stamps, including all the images and sentiments from the first release. If they come in rubber and you want rubber over digi, then you can have rubber. If they only came out in digi then digi it is, it's all up to you and your liking. AND want to know something else? There are hidden candies hiding within the hop too for a bit of extra fun!!!

If you have come from the amazing Angela's blog then you're on the right party line. If you do get lost along the way you can head back HERE to party central where you'll find the full party list!

Now here's my project....

I went a little crazy and chose images from EVERY October release and created a party scene by merging them together. Now I'm not known for being a scrapbooker but with all of these images in one picture it ended up a little large - so I went with a 12x12 scrapbook  page instead of a card. To show how little I scrap BOTH my hubby and my 12yo son asked who the BIG "card" was for when they saw it - LOL.

I cut the title and the streamers out using my craft robo. The grass on the picture was cut using my MS punch and the flowers were made using Tim Holtz's tattered florals die.

I searched my stash for DP and came up with these - with the picture soo bright I didn't want the backdrop to detract too much from the picture.

Now your next party stop is the fabulous Fran's Blog.

Thank you for joining the Tickled Pink Stamps hop and have FUN.

Trick or Treat Blog Hop with Tiddly Inks and Simply Betty Stamps

What do you get when Two Companies Collide? One fun fun fun blog hop! Christy of Tiddly Inks and Betty from Simply Betty Stamps are big Halloween fans so naturally they had to put together a fun Trick or Treat Blog Hop for you all! Here are the details and a fun badge for you to display!

Theme: Trick or Treating with Tiddly Inks and Simply Betty Stamps

Dates: 12 PM CST on October 29th to 6 PM CST on October 31st

How to Participate: Post your creation on your personal blog between 12 PM CST and 5:55 PM CST. The title of your post should be "Trick or Treating with Tiddly Inks and Simply Betty Stamps".

Once your blog post is completed, visit the Simply Betty Stamps Blog and link your blog hop post in the Inlinkz list at the bottom of the Blog Hop post in order to be qualified for the prizes. There is no need to sign up in advance the Inlinkz list will close at 6 PM and then we hop, Halloween style, from the both Tiddly Inks challenge blog and Simply Betty Stamps. Now here is the twist... for your blog hop project please create a Trick (a favorite technique) or a Treat (just a project to share).

The blog hop will run until October 31st at 6 PM CST.

Prizes: Two random blogger participant winners will be announced November 5th and highlighted on the hosting blogs Tiddly Inks and Simply Betty Stamps. Each will receive a $10 gift voucher from Tiddly Inks. Simply Betty Stamps will be giving away a $10 gift voucher as well!

Now for the joint DT hop to get your creative juices flowing you should have started at the fabulous Christy's blog,  and if you didn't you can always head back there now. If you ARE already on the hop you should have arrived here from the lovely Cheri's Blog.

Now for my card I've used the gorgeous Tiddly Inks image called Gothic Lady - available HERE. My background DP is also from Tiddly Inks - and was printed onto Kraft cardstock. This image is part of the Love Hurts set that you can find HERE. I found the scroll on the internet and popped my own sentiment onto it before printing it out - it's actually a line from an episode of One Tree Hill - but I think it works better here - LOL. The spider was cut using my craft robo. Both the picture frame and the spider are coated with black glitter. And as the red-back spider is one of Australia's poisonous arachnids I added a sliver of red CS onto the spiders back to amp up the creepy factor! A red satin ribbon and some drippy goo punched CS finish off the embellishments.

You can't see it in the picture but I've used my clear spica pen on her tears.

Your next stop on the hop is the the incredible Donna's Blog.

Now remember, if you want to be a part of this hop just link your Trick (technique) or Treat (just a project to share) in the inlinkz code as mentioned aboove with a Simply Betty Stamps image or a Tiddly Inks image.

Happy Hopping!

Here it is - all painted up!

As promised I've come back to show you this with the frame painted white (check it out the original post HERE). If the glass hadn't been stuck in I would have painted it from the start - but I'm glad I made the extra effort because it DOES look better now! Thanx everyone!

Stamps For Sale

I am having a bit of a clean up in my craft room. I have started a new page on my blog to list stamps I have for sale - just click on the link above. There are currently only Stampin' Up sets listed but I may add some others as my clean-up progresses.

Lil Lolita Birthday from Tickled Pink Stamps

We're keeping the birthday fun going over at Tickled Pink Stamps with this gorgeous birthday Kellita from the Lil Lolita range. Kellita made her first appearance on Boss Lady Kellie's birthday as a bit of a surprise - so it's sooo great to see her come back again! This time I haven't made her a red head though - LOL.

If you want to check out some more FABULOUS eye candy by the DT using Birthday Kellita - and see how you can win her for yourself - then head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog and check it all out. Kellita will be available for sale on Saturday 30th. But first there's another birthday image for you to check out tomorrow over at the TPS blog.

On The Tenth Day of Halloween......

We're up to the 10th day of Halloween and can you guess what the theme is?!?!??!

Now I'm not usually that good with spiders but I reckon these ones are pretty darn cool! I found this fabulous pattern over HERE - at Extreme Cards and Papercrafting. The lovely Carol has the cutting files for these - and her bat version - for free! They are soo much fun and soo quick and easy to make! I cut them with my craft robo and the DP is from Stampin' Up. It feels a little strange to show something that has NO stamping and NO colouring - LOL.

If you want to check out all the details for this challenge head on over to the Simply Betty Challenge Blog HERE.

The Wizard of Oz - Mo Style

Edit - thanx for the advice guys - I've decided I WILL paint the frame white - I'll show you how it comes up when it's done!

I've been working on this for a few days - and I think I'm finally done! I wanted to create a scene using the four friends from The Wizard of Oz - it started as a card but got waaaayy too big - so I ended up using a shadow box frame. I'm just trying to decide whether to paint the frame or not - I'm SUCH a messy painter - but I think it would look nice in a crisp white?!?!?!?! ALL of the fabulous images are from Mo Manning and have been "popped" up at different levels to give it a 3D effect.

Apologies for the pictures - I couldn't stop the glare from the glass!

I made this for my 9yo niece who's having trouble with bullying at school - it's got soo bad she's had to change schools and is upset at leaving some of her friends behind. So I figured this little scene about friends coming in all shapes and sizes, and with all sorts of weaknesses to overcome - might just pop a smile on her face!

Just as I was about to post it I saw the current challenge over at Mad for Markers is "Anything But A Card" - I think this fits the bill and all my images were coloured in Copics, so I'm going to enter it there!!

All of these images are available in Mo's store, just click on their names for a direct link - Kansas (Dorothy and Toto), Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, Tin Man

A Card For Daniel

This card is heading all the way over to England to help make a young man's day! Daniel is turning 13 in November and is on the Autism Spectrum. He has trouble socialising so doesn't have birthday parties. Instead his gorgeous mum Claire asks fellow cardmakers to send him a card because he LOVES to open them up and study them, making his birthday a little bit special for him. You can read more about Daniel HERE on Claire's blog Crafty C's Crafting Library.

Claire wrote that Daniel loves dinosaurs - so I thought this guy from Dustin Pike would be perfect! My nephew is also on the Autism spectrum so I have used his love of anything red and texture to help me out here - I hope Daniel likes them too! I used a lunch bag and some layering to make it look like dino here really WAS peeking through the card to find Daniel - LOL. I've also used a glaze pen on his eyes to add a bit of a shine - and somehow a touch of birthday glitter got mixed in too - maybe I should clean my desk - LOL.

Happy 13th Birthday Daniel!

Magnolia Down Under #69 - All Aboard!

This week over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges we are asking you to create a Travel Themed project. I had no idea where to start - should I go with one of my Asian Tildas or Sailor Edwin or one of my Tildas with the suitcases???? And then what colours, layout etc- I was just in a bit of a design slump - my mojo left at the first sign of my sniffles so it too wouldn't catch a cold : (

In the end I resorted to a sketch to get me started - I used my own from last week's challenge - it was sooo much fun to see what everyone else did with it that I thought I'd give it a go myself - LOL. I also used a brand new paper pad I bought last week - it was just MADE for the challenge - it's Up, Up and Away by Kaisercraft.

I think this is one of the first cards I've ever made that I set the design and colours BEFORE I chose and coloured up my Tilda - LOL. I think I may just have to do it again - I'm quite happy with the result!!!

Hope you guys can join in too - it's going to be sooooo much fun travelling the world in front of my laptop while checking out the entries! And don't forget to pop over to the MDUC blog HERE to see the rest of the amazing DTs work - I tell ya these gals are one talented bunch!!!

Jude's Crew Christmas Release Blog Hop

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas over at Simply Betty Stamps. With this industry being so fast and ahead of schedule of course we had to follow in the trend - and we know you guys want to get your cards made to send off too. So welcome to our newest release...

Jude and his Shenenigan Crew Christmas

You are going to love these cuties! Hop along from blog to blog and see all the wonderful images and creations the girls have come up with! All these new cuties will be on sale along with the rest of the sale we have going on until the end of October - check it out HERE! Jude and his Crew Christmas digis will be only $3.00!!

You should have arrived here from the fabulous Cheri's blog - but if you haven't you can always head back to the start at the Simply Betty Stamps blog.

I've used the cute Tangled Jude for my card - I can sooo relate to getting those lights all untangled and ready for the tree - I just don't look as cute when I'm all tangled up - LOL. I've used a sketch from Sketches by Carly to help me out - replacing the "twine" with some EK success "lights" to add to the tangled mess poor Jude has found himself in. The little stocking is also from EK success. The DP is from Basic Grey's Figgy range.

Your next stop on the hop is the wonderful Eulanda's blog and if you get lost along the way you'll find the whole list on the Simply Betty Stamps blog.

Cupcake Cherrie from Tickled Pink Stamps

Meet the new kid on the block - the cute Cherrie - designed especially for Tickled Pink Stamps by Christine from CC Designs. This is the second day Cherrie has come out to play - Birthday Cherrie was previewed by some of the TPS DT yesterday - you can check her out HERE.

Mo's Dream Team 1st Anniversary Blog Hop

We have a very special Dream Team Blog Hop today - it's Mo's first anniversary so we will be inviting YOU to join in by making a card using our theme for the month and adding your link to the Inlinkz on the Dream Team Blog - so hope you can join in the fun.

This month's theme has been set by Kerttu and is...

"Frogs and snails and puppy dogs tails, that's what little boys are made of"

If you're already on the hop you should have arrived here from Peri's blog, but if you arrived here without being on the hop you can always head back to the start at Kerttu's blog.

I chose Santa Louis for my card - you can get these guys from Mo's store HERE . I figured it had a little boy and a puppy dog tail on it - and helped me get on with my Christmas cards - LOL. I used some Basic Grey DP and a fold I first saw on my friend Kris' blog HERE for something a little different. I also had a bit of fun with my naughty and nice lists - but I'm hoping none of the other Dream Team gals will be upset with where I put them! I'm on the naughty list with some of my favourite Mo characters.

Your next stop on the hop is Mina's blog. But if you get lost I have the hop list below and all the links are on my left side bar under Mo's banner.

Order of the Blog Hop - Kerttu, Jak, Peri, Debbie, Mina, Rosette, Arielle, Lori

Happy Birthday Aubery!

Now I'm not too sure Aubery Bumblethorpe from Just INKlined is really enjoying his birthday too much - he seems to have a bit of a headache!!! Is it the family's singing of the birthday song, too many candles or just the attention he usually avoids - LOL??? But he's such a loveable rogue isn't he! You can get Aubery HERE.

This is such a great image for an older man's birthday - and you really can have a bit of fun with sentiments - although some of the ones my family and friends suggested would make the poor old guy blush - LOL. The one thing I find hard with men's cards is the embellishment - I LOVE heaping on flowers but I think that really WOULD upset Aubery! I hope he doesn't mind the few rhinestones I added - they ARE black!!!!

I used K&Company DP, a computer generated sentiment and my spellbinders frame die. I've used crystall effects to add "lenses" to his glasses.

A Card For Elise

One of our fellow bloggers has been brave enough to share with us the fact that she has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. Elise from Paper Love Affair wanted to raise awareness of the disease and make sure ALL women - young and old - regularly check for lumps. It is such a brave thing to open up your life like this but she may just save someone by doing so! Elise is a young mum with a 4yo son and she has a long road ahead and I know soo many people are thinking of her. You can read her story HERE.

One of my blogging friends - the sweet and talented Cheryl from My Card Making Heaven - is holding a card drive for Elise - and the lovely and generous Bec from Bizzy Bec's is offering a little something to one person who joins in - you can check out the candy and all the rules on Cheryl's blog - it's at the top until November 16th.

And if you have ANY reason why you think a card won't make any difference you MUST read THIS amazing post by another blogger who doesn't know Elise but wants to help bring a smile to her face!

Thanx to ALL of these amazing women for your thoughts, actions and words - it's amazing what can be done when we work together. I don't know Elise either - but I've had 4 friends who have been touched by this disease. I have sat through chemo session with one and supported the others in any way I can! So hopefully we can shower Elise with cards and smiles and SUPPORT!

Here's the card I'm sending her's full of glitter to add a sparkle to Elise's day and good wishes for the road ahead!

Image - Fairy Fae catches a star by Tiddly Inks
DP - Basic Grey
Sentiment - Computer generated
Flowers - Prima

"A Lil' Lurid & Lovesick" from Tickled Pink Stamps and Haunted Design House

Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring the current Haunted Design House Challenge and don't you just LOVE the theme Barb came up with for the home of the Lil Lolitas - LOL...

A Lil Lurid and Lovesick

I thought these 2 cuties from the newest Lil Haunts range would make a fabulous couple - and I hadn't had a chance to play with them yet - LOL. They are Vampire Lilith and Frankenstein Frankie. The background is a freebie from the ultra talented and generous Jak Heath and you can find it HERE. I did have to stretch is slightly to get what I wanted in the background - the joys of digital! I coloured the windows with my red spica pen for an eerie glow - and to tie on with Lilith and Frankie's red eyes.

Some of the other TPS gals are playing along too - you can check out their take on the challenge at the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog.

Meet The Snowmuns

Meet the Snowmuns from Just INKlined. They are a fun little family of snowpeople with their little snowpup getting ready for their annual family portrait - you can find them for purchase HERE. Without needing too much colour to bring them to life you end up with a fairly quick card - I need a few of these to get my Christmas card stash growing - LOL.

I simply cut the family out and popped them on an embossed background with some ribbon and a strip of glittered up icicles I cut using my MS punch. Add a bow, charm and sentiment to the ribbon strip and a large poinsettia in the top corner and you are done!

On The Sixth Day of Halloween......

Well as you know The Burtonesque Dolls are helping out the gals from Simply Betty Challenges with the 12 Days of Halloween. Well we're halfway there and the prizes are FABULOUS - so pop over HERE to check out what's on offer and how to play along. Here's today's challenge...
On the 6th day of Halloween my ghoul love gave to me, six Jack-o-Lanterns!

Create your project making sure you use jack-o-lanterns somewhere.

I used Mo Manning's adorable Halloween image Pirate Kai - available HERE. He's sooo cute hugging his toy parrot and waiting for some goodies in his jack-o-lantern bucket. I paired him with some DP from K&Company and a sentiment from the Tickled Pink Stamps Going Batty digi set.

Hope you're enjoying this fun challenge!!!

Punky Teens Christmas Blog Hop from Simply Betty Stamps

Hello all you Simply Betty Stamps fans! Welcome to our Punky Teens Christmas blog hop release! Betty has organised a super fun, long hop for you all after posting on her FaceBook page about joining in on the fun. And she got a huge response which means lots of fun, cute and quirky projects using the Punky Teens, Christmas style!

You should have arrived here from Christy's blog - but if you need the full blog list or want to start at the beginning you need to head back to the Simply Betty Challenges blog.

For my card I've used the adorable Trixie. I figured the Punky Teens were a little non traditional so I'd use some non traditional colours with her. Not a very "punky" colour combo I know - but at least you can see these guys can do cute too - LOL. My DP is from Memory Box - the Gossamer range. The swirl was cut using my Magnolia DooHickey die. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.

Now there is a special prize to be won on this hop... Guest DT for the Month of November at Simply Betty Challenges! All you have to do is create a project using one of the Punky Teen Christmas images, upload it to inlinkz you'll find on the Simply Betty Challenges blog and you are in for the race to become Guest DT. You will have until October 26th to complete and upload your project! The winner will be announced on November 1st! Good luck and I hope to see many of you join in on the fun!

Your next stop on the hop is another Debbie - this time you're going to

Hope you enjoy hoppin' along!

Mollie Mittens From Tickled Pink Stamps

If you're a follower of the Tickled Pink Stamps blog you would have seen the previews of our newest kitten on the block - Mollie Mittens. Today is the last day of previews and we're finishing off with Mollie getting all geared up for Christmas - isn't she just adorable?!?!?!?!

I decided to dress her in blue for a bit of a change - but there's plenty of the traditional Christmas red and green on the card too - and lots of sparkle!!!

Mollie Mittens in her four fabulous poses will be available for sale from midnight Saturday 16th October AEST from Tickled Pink Stamps HERE in both digital and rubber stamps. And don't forget to pop over to the TPS blog to check out the prizes on offer for the release AND the amazing work by the rest of the DT showcasing this cutie!!!

Get Your Christmas Stocking Out!

I can't believe it's less than 11 weeks to Christmas - how scary! It made me realise I really should get on with making some more Christmas cards. I've used Santa's Helpers from Mo Manning on this one - you can find them in Mo's store HERE. I've had these guys for a while so it was really great to get them all coloured up. I paired them with some funky paper from my stash. The layout started out from a sketch I was following and ended up taking on a life of it's own - I have a habit of working like that - LOL!

The sentiment is a Magnolia stamp with a bit of colour and glitter added to give it some dimension. There's some extra Christmas glitter on the stocking's "fluff" and some rhinestones for pom poms on the elves' hats.

Three Wise Guys from Just INKlined

When I saw this version of the 3 Wise Monkeys from Just INKlined I knew I wanted to have a bit of fun with them. There are soo many versions of the "hear no evil, see no evil speak no evil" saying out there that give a giggle - but I kept this one clean - LOL.

I love Orangutans and these guys with their chubby tummy's are just too cute. When we lived in Singapore my kid's school had a huge fundraiser to have the naming rights and sponsorship of the newest baby orangutan at the zoo - so if you're ever there and see Banjo think of me - he'd be about 9 now - WOW - where did that time go!!!!

You can find these guys instore at Just INKlined HERE. And let me know if you have any other funny versions of this - LOL.

Twelve Days of Halloween - Day 4

If you're interested please scroll down for my Magnolia Down Under Challenges card posted earlier today!

Ooops - It's been a crazy weekend and I nearly forgot to post my card for the Fourth Day of the Twelve Days of Halloween - that wouldn't have helped anyone out would it - LOL. For all the ongoing information about the competition and prizes check out the Simply Betty Challenges blog HERE. Me and the rest of the gals from  The Burtonesque Dolls are helping out our neighbours with this one in place of our regular challenges.

On the 4th day of Halloween my ghoul love gave to me four crazy Ravens

... incorporate Ravens and this line from Vincent...

"His voice was soft and very slow As he quoted The Raven from Edgar Allen Poe: “and my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor shall be lifted? Nevermore…” "

I used a Memory Box DP and cut a raven on a fence out using my craft robo. I added some texture to the bottom of the fence with one of my Tim Holtz embossing folders. The quote was printed out using my computer and then I just distressed it a little with some ink and my thumbnail. I used the gorgeous boy from the "Sweet and Toxic" set from The Greeting Farm - I liked the fact that he has wings - it ties him in to the theme of birds and ravens!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #67 - Tag It

Well this week over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges we are asking you to "Tag It". This can mean decorating a tag, adding a tag to your card, or anything else you can make work using a tag! I used the Magnolia Doo Hickey Tag die and a luscious pink tassel to add a sentiment to a wedding card. I have glued the tassel in place as you see it so it doesn't flop down over the image.

I'm fairly busy with DT work this month so when my sister recently asked me to make a card for her SILs wedding next month I thought I'd get ahead and make a wedding card for this challenge - I hope she's happy with it!

I love pink, white and kraft together - it's sooo soft and yet still has the contrast. I used my CB embossing folders to add some interest to the base layer. Some platinum stickles add some sparkle to the bride and flower girl's headpieces and flowers. I used small pearls in the bride's hair but they were too big for her necklace - so my liquid pearls came to the rescue. I have used my clear Spica pen over the bridal gown and some star dust stickles on the flowers- this really looks fabulously glittery IRL - perfect for the happy day!

Having seen some of the other DT work for this challenge already I KNOW it's worth your while just checking out the eye candy on offer HERE - and hopefully we can inspire you to play along too!

A Sweet Little Girl From Mo

Doesn't this little gal from Mo Manning just want to melt your heart. Her name is Nelly and you can find her at Mo's store HERE. I wanted a fairly simple layout for her so that she could take centre stage. A few flowers, a doily and some rhinestone flourishes were all that was needed. I didn't bother with a sentiment as I'm going to pop it on the inside.

Hope everyone has an AMAZING weekend - our Spring weather is being nice to us and my son is back playing tennis, so I'm going to be spending a bit of time outside in the fresh air - Yay. I LOVE Spring - and Nelly with her bunch of flowers is just perfect to celebrate the season!

Simply Betty Stamps Release Blog Hop

Welcome to Simply Betty Stamps Double Whammy Release hop - YUP that's right - TWO new sets of images!!! You should have arrived here from the fabulous Cheri's blog - but if you haven't and want to head back to the start you need to hop on over to Simply Betty Stamps Blog.

Today we have one last Halloween line that I know you are going to love!  The Victorian Beauties Halloween.....

I've used Dark Fairy Elaine here and I know the other fabulous Beauties will be previewing during the rest of the hop. We have Darcy the Vampiress, Day of The Dead Timothy, Mina the Sassy Witch, Elaine the Dark Fairy, Lucy the Pumpkin Queen, and James the Zombie!

We are also have Jude and His Shenanigan Crew Thanksgiving for you! Now these little Toddlers are just so cute you are going to want to squeeze their little cheeks!

I've used 2 of the Crew here - Lizzie's on the left and Chloe's on the right. Now we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia so hopefully I've managed to catch the essence of it with my card. Fall colours seemed to be the way to go.

For this new release Betty is going to do something new and different... after you have hopped along and please go back and tell us about your favorite Halloween or Thanksgiving memory. It can be the funniest, the scariest, the most memorable one you can think of. We will pick 6 favorite stories as winners! That means 6 of you will get to choose 4 digis, two from the Victorian Halloween, and two from Jude and His Shenanigan Crew Thanksgiving. Woohooo. You have until Sunday October 10th to leave your story HERE at the Simply Betty Stamps blog. The 6 winners will be announced on Monday October 11th at 8PM PST.

Now the hop order is HERE if you get lost along the way. But if you're managing OK your next stop on the hop is the talented Eulanda.

Hope you enjoy!

Tickled Pink Monthly Challenge #6

Well Kellie has done it again and come up with another FABULOUS sketch for this month's challenge at Tickled Pink Monthly Challenges. For my card I used the gorgeous Lil Lolita 70s Willow. For a long time now I've wanted to try the "Big Head" look for these gals - ever since my TPS teamie Amy wow'd me with the first one she ever did. It's one of the fabulous things about digis - you can "play" with them - LOL.

We hope you can come along and play with us at TPSM  and we've made it even EASIER for you. We used to have the rule that you could only enter if you used a stamp company that Tickled Pink Stamps carried HERE.... BUT this sketch challenge is now open to EVERY one and every stamp.... BUT to be in it to win the prize offered you do have to use a stamp from a company Tickled Pink Stamps Store does carry. Doesn't have to be in stock or bought from Tickled Pink Stamps, as long as the company name is there, your IN! So NO EXCUSES - and you have a whole month to play!!!!

Now before I go we at Tickled Pink Stamps need to send out some VERY special birthday wishes to our wonderful Lil Lolita illustrator Christina. She has had the DT jumping off our seats with excitement with every new set of images. Christina is not only an AMAZING artist she is also one of the sweetest gals - as I found out personally when I hijacked her for Kellie's surprise birthday hop - hehehehehehe.

Hope you have an AMAZING day

Twelve Days of Halloween - Day 3

With Halloween being this month The Burtonesque Dolls are joining the Simply Betty Challenges for the 12 Days Of Halloween in place of our regular weekly challenge. Due to other DT commitments I'm joining in a little late - but you can find out how it works and join in the fun over at Simply Betty Challenges HERE. Today's challenge is.....
On the 3rd day of Halloween my ghoul love gave to me - 3 Creepy Rag dolls

Create a card or project using Sally (From Nightmare Before Christmas by Tim Burton) as the main Rag Doll! I found my image by googling colouring pages for the movie - I think Sally and Jack make a lovely couple and think this would make a really quirky engagment card for the right couple - LOL. I used a build-a-brad from SU to attach my heart charm and sentiment - I LOVE being able to customise my brads! The DP is from Martha Stewart.

Hope you can join in the fun and apologies to my followers for the late notice about it...

Lil Lolita's Dress Up for Halloween

Meet the gorgeous Ghost Willow - part of the new Lil Lolita Range from Tickled Pink Stamps called Lil Haunts - and they're ALL dressed up for Halloween! Now this is the 2nd day of previews of these FABULOUS Lil Haunts - yesterday saw some AMAZING work by the birthday guests and DT with the super cute Vampire Lilith - you can check her out HERE.

We have a couple more days of previews at the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog and then these ghoulies can be ALL yours - but they WILL only be available in digital form! If you watercolour Kellie has done a fabulous tutorial on watercolouring digis HERE.

For my card I used a K&Company Halloween DP as well as their gravestone embellishment. I also used the black cat DooHickey Die from Magnolia (available from Tickled Pink Stamps) and the wonderful MS bat fence. I tucked some fluffy "webbing" in behind Willow to give the illusion of a ghostly aura - you can see it better in the picture on the left! The sentiment is from the Tickled Pink Stamps Heather Rolin line - the Going Batty set.

Now there ARE prizes on offer - Kellie is super generous with every new release and you can get all the info at our blog HERE - so remember to pop back and check out the next 2 days of previews too!!! And don't forget to check out her AMAZING candy for World Card Making Day HERE.

Just INKlined's Monthly DT Blog Hop

This month the Just INKlined DT are seeing stripes - and our blog hop is hosted by the lovely Karen. You should have arrived here from Lydia's blog if you are hopping along but you can always head back to the start at Karen's

As I said we have been asked to use stripes in our project somewhere and I had a piece of this marvellous teal and white stripey ribbon that I thoought would be PERFECT for the challenge. I used it down the edge of the K&Company DP - mainly because this was from a mat pad and just wasn't wide enough for my 5 1/2" card (I'm discovering all sorts of fun ways to hide this size shortfall - LOL) - but also because it looked perfect when I added the matching bow. The sentiment is by The Pink Cat Studio and appealed to my warped sense of humour - LOL.

The image I've used is "The Cat Lady" and can be found instore HERE. Now to carry on with the hop you need to visit Jak's blog - but I have a full list below if you get lost and all the links wre on my left sidebar under the Just INKlined logo.

The order of the blog hop is....Karen, Lydia, ME, Jak, Peri, Joyce, and Toni

Happy Hopping!

For my card I've used one of the Punky Teens from Simply Betty Stamps - this is Angelica. I also found a fabulous background DP from Memory Box and highlighted the crow by framing him with a frame I cut using my craft robo and giving him an evil red eye. Some letters cut using a cuttlebug alphabet make up the sentiment and my MS Drippy Goo punch gets another work-out too.

For a little blog candy I'm offering one of my commenters a $10 gift voucher from Tickled Pink Stamps - my first store DT and it's our 1st birthday this month - so one of YOU gets a gift from me!
